I have been looking for something that will wake me up and give me energy for my 5:00 AM morning work outs. Also if it can be quick and easy that is a bonus. This recipe does all of that!
All you need is ice, protein powder, oats, banana, milk, instant coffee powder, and cocoa powder. You can even put the dry ingredients in a blender the night before so that it is ready to go that morning.
When you are ready to make it, add all ingredients in a blender.
Pulse until smooth as shown above. This will take about 30-60 seconds. When you are done, place smoothie into a cup and drink up! If you are in a rush, drink it on the way to work or the gym.

- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup chocolate peanut butter protein powder
- 1 medium banana
- 1 tsp instant coffee powder
- 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Pulse until smooth, about 10-30 seconds.
- Pour in a cup and drink up!
